Dual certification of antimicrobial-free and hormone-free products (livestock, poultry, aquatic)

The concept of antibiotic-free and hormone-free product certification:

【Antibiotic-free and hormone-free products】(double-free)

Refers to live, fresh, and frozen livestock and poultry products produced in accordance with the requirements of antibiotic-free and hormone-free product breeding and transportation, slaughtering, and cutting, or products that use fresh and frozen livestock and poultry products produced in accordance with the above requirements as raw materials, and are deeply or roughly processed and do not contain residues of antimicrobial drugs and hormone drugs.

Double-free means that in addition to not using veterinary drugs banned by the state, antimicrobial drugs (drugs listed in the "Catalogue of Veterinary Prescription Drugs (First Batch)" in Announcement No. 1997 of the Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China and the "Catalogue of Veterinary Prescription Drugs (Second Batch)" in Announcement No. 2471 of the Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China, as well as anticoccidial drugs) and hormone drugs are not used.

【Antibiotic-free and hormone-free product certification】

Certification is provided for products obtained through breeding with feed that does not contain antimicrobial drugs and hormones, and without the preventive use of antimicrobial drugs and hormone-type drugs as prevention and treatment measures. Currently, certification is mainly provided for livestock and poultry breeding and their processed products, and aquaculture and its processed products.
