Organic Assessment (Inputs)


[Organic Input Material Assessment] (Organic Fertilizers and Organic Plant Protection Products):

   Companies processing commercial organic fertilizers, microbial fertilizers, and other non-chemical fertilizers, as well as companies producing non-chemical plant protection products, may apply for organic input material assessment.

[Applicable Standard]:

GB/T19630 Appendix C, Guidelines for the Assessment of Other Inputs Used in Organic Production.

Clause 4.2.7.2 of the GB/T19630 organic standard: If commercially produced organic fertilizers are purchased from external suppliers, they shall be used only after obtaining approval from the certification body.

[The following conditions must be met for organic input material assessment]: Including but not limited to:

1. Possess a business license and relevant industry permits, such as a Fertilizer Registration Certificate.

2. Have a fixed production site, which shall obtain environmental protection permit filing when necessary.

3. The raw and auxiliary materials and processing processes used in production shall comply with GB/T19630 Appendix C, Guidelines for the Assessment of Other Inputs Used in Organic Production.

4. Have a stable quality operation system and complete production records.

5. Commercial enterprises applying for organic input material assessment may entrust qualified enterprises with production and processing.
