On June 17, 2025, Nanjing Guohuan successfully issued its first EU organic certification with an electronic signature on the EU Trade Control and Expert System (TRACES), marking that Nanjing Guohuan has fully met the certification service capabilities and standards required by the new EU organic regulatory framework under EU Regulation 2018/848.

The TRACES system is the EU's e-government platform for product certification and trade supervision. Its main functions include issuing official documents such as EU import/export and intra-EU market phytosanitary certificates and organic product certifications, enabling rapid responses to safety risks in the food and agricultural supply chain. The system supports electronic document submission and management, streamlining operational processes and enhancing supply chain transparency. Starting from January 1, 2025, third-country certification bodies must issue certifications with electronic signatures through the EU TRACES system.

Nanjing Guohuan has a profound foundation in EU organic certification. As early as2011, Nanjing Guohuan became one of the first globally and the first in China to be recognized by the European Commission as an EU organic certification body, continuously providing professional organic certification services to Chinese enterprises. In 2024, Nanjing Guohuan obtained approval under EU Organic Regulation 2018/848, enabling it to conduct EU organic certification business simultaneously in China and Russia.

In the future, Nanjing Guohuan will upholdthe principle of "delivering trust, serving development," maintaining high-quality certification services to provide more professional and efficient support for international cooperation in the organic industry in China and countries along the "Belt and Road" initiative.
